Local Schools take part in Lorry Design Competition

Last year, chiltonSkips.com invited a number of schools in the Oxfordshire area to take part in their recycling poster competition.  We received some amazing results, of which some were chosen and printed onto brand new chiltonSkips.com lorries.  The lorries were then named after each school and taken back to the school’s playground to show the children.

To thank the schools, a canvas print of the children with their lorry was delivered to each school.  One school we visited was Harwell Primary School (pictured), who were thrilled with their canvas.

Kristal, Harwell Schools Administrator, commented: “Harwell Primary School were delighted to be chosen by Raymond Brown for the skip lorry design competition. The children in Year 6 loved designing their posters.

When the new lorry visited, the whole school (as well as the competition winners) were excited to see it. The canvas given to the school with a photograph of the lorry and the winners of the poster competition was a lovely surprise and very gratefully received and is now displayed for visitors to the school to see.”
